Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-16
These Terms of Service govern use of Mnemora, a digital memorial platform operated by LimitedReality LLC. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
The service
Mnemora helps people create web memorial pages connected to physical markers, plaques, NFC tags, or QR codes. The service is designed for long-term preservation, but we do not promise that content will be stored forever.
Accounts and authority
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may create or manage a memorial only if you have a good-faith right to do so. You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent your relationship to the deceased, or interfere with a rightful steward's memorial.
Memorial content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant LimitedReality LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, back up, and format that content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support the service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content, including photos, text, and personal information about living people. You are responsible for resolving family, estate, copyright, privacy, publicity, or cemetery-related disputes connected to content you submit.
Public submissions and moderation
Guestbook entries and public contributions may be reviewed before publication. We may reject, remove, or hide content that violates these terms, creates legal risk, invades privacy, appears abusive, or is inconsistent with the dignity of the memorial.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to submit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, exploitative, hateful, sexually explicit, invasive, deceptive, spam, malware, or infringing content. You may not scrape, attack, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass access controls for the service.
Preservation and export
Mnemora is intended to support durable memorial records and exportability. Export features may include structured metadata, Markdown biography content, media archives, and static snapshots where feasible. Export availability may depend on account status, content rights, technical limits, and abuse prevention.
Third-party services
The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, email, maps, QR-related workflows, and future payments. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply.
Paid features
Paid plans, storage limits, and commercial terms are planned for a later phase. Any paid offering should be described at checkout, including price, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or preserve records when necessary to protect users, families, the public, the service, or legal rights. You may stop using the service at any time.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LimitedReality LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data loss, emotional distress, or memorial disputes arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The updated version will be posted with a new effective or last-updated date.
